Unofficial Getty Monthly Planner

A limited-edition calendar combining Nelson's paintings of the Getty Museum with animals associated with the Los Angeles Zoo, personal dates and the increasingly dense international calendar of fairs, biennials and exhibitions. Approximately 200 copies were distributed directly to art dealers during Art Basel Miami. The project functioned simultaneously as organizer, sculpture, promotional object and a dry observation about an art world becoming increasingly global, scheduled and bureaucratic.
